weekly stills:
1. Last week I got a fit of the finishing offs, and pulled out my pile of squares
from the 'Weekend in Stockholm' pattern by Debbie Stoller, and I sewed them all together and dealt with all these ends! So nice to get something off the to do list. I am even blocking the finished blanket so I'll show you how it turned out tomorrow.
2. Next on my list of finishing off is this pile of mini squares.
I hope I can keep the momentum going.
3. I had a go at turning some of my tomato harvest into semi dried tomatoes. I think it worked...
4. Beautiful blue feathers in my blue detailed cup.
5. One of my fav photos of my boys from over a decade ago, my eldest Jesse got his drivers license today, eek! (Where did that time go?)
Hope you had a good week too.

Joining in with the other weekly stillers over at The Beetle Shack.
I don't envy you all those threads you had to sew in but at least it's done now. Those preserved tomatoes look fabulous.

All those ends are giving me palpitations!!! It will be well worth the effort. Vx
ReplyDeleteI wish that there was some way to crochet without having to sew in ends!! I am sure that it is beautiful though! xx
ReplyDeleteTime does fly doesn't it... Yowza! You sewed in all those ends, all in one go?! *applause!* Those tomatoes look yummy, I've wanted to try drying tomatoes myself for a while now.. The picture of the blue feathers in the blue cup looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe mini squares in the box really demonstrates the amount of work that goes into them. Look forward to seeing the finished product!
ReplyDeleteOh man, that's an awful lot of ends to weave in!
ReplyDeleteI love your weekly stills but what an awful lot of ends to weave in.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that.

Someone's been a busy bee! (I need to take a page from your book. lol) The dreaded ends, the bane of a crocheter's life! The tomatoes look delish, soon I'll be sowing mine. Yes, where does the time go?!!! My baby...BABY has hers!!! A bittersweet moment.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in that top picture - your mini blocks look cute too. You have been very busy. Your boys looks so handsome, it is true they all grow up far too fast - two of my children have children of their own!!
ReplyDeleteOh you are a strong-willed soul to tackle all those ends, they are the bane of my existence! Beautiful colours, though! And those tomatoes look absolutely delicious, and I'm sure they'll bring back the flavours of summer when you tuck into them in June! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteNever mind the ends, what a riot of colours in those squares! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of your boys. I too, am a mother of towheaded boys who are getting all grown up. I guess we will always see the little souls of who they once were inside their older selves. So sweet.
