weekly stills....

1. Sweetpeas drying in the vase. I really like the washed out mauves and creams with the fresh green, such a nice combo....

2. I'm loving my new pens, ( a little post-Christmas splurge), having lots of fun
with all the beautiful colours.

3. Playing with the above pens to come up with a few different colour
schemes for the Harlequin blanket. I could do this all day.....  :)

4. How is this for orange!  Very tropical I feel.

5. Our new bed and crumpled doona, very happy with the new set up.

6. The beaten spoons wind chime has been tinkling away in the summer breeze.

7. I'm very happy with this gorgeous purple artichoke, it looks fab in the garden.

  3. What lovely shots, so much to like. The bed is gorgeous, the spoon wind chime is a great idea, your flowers, the artichoke and your pens all wonderful. I love how you plan your crochet, I think the nearest I come to that kind of planning is holding all the balls of potential colour together and squinting at them to see if they go!

  17. Lovely! How do you find colored pens that match the shades of your yarns so well? I just recently realized crocheters draw out and color their ideas for projects before they start hooking. Doh! I have been doing "trial and error". I try a color, realize my error, and unravel an hours worth of hooks. It never occurred to me to pre-plan it...

  18. Some great stills here Jules, I especially like the bed, the wall colour is just stunning against the bed and bed linen. When I first saw the paper with your harlequin colours on I thought you had been playing around with your printer, the pen colours are as vibrant as the blanket you finished. Those orange sweetpeas steal the show, thank you for sharing x

  19. I couldn't just look at those wonderful photos and not stop to comment. They brightened my already fine day. I love the bed and coverings. I've had this fascination with patchwork for about a month and have my calendar marked for when I can order something off Etsy--probably patchwork snack mats from Happy Little Cottage. I plan to try sewing something too. Tempting pens! Your color mock-ups look like art prints (except notes are in the margin). Have a bright day! Alexine in Maryland

  20. Stunning photos. I particularly like the repurposed wind chime and the purple artichoke. I'm just in the process of picking the vegetables that I will plant this year and think I will include these, for beauty more so than eating.

  21. I love looking at photographs in books. Color for me is much better through a book than in my home. I love all the images, thank you so much for sharing. Many Blessings.
