Hello!
So Friday has rolled around again and it's time for some Etsy Finds, this week with a hearty twist seeing Valentines Day is coming up fast.   I don't think it is such a big deal here in Australia, but I know it is quite a big day in other parts of the world, there is certainly lots of cute things heart related on Etsy at the moment! :)

So here we go........

1. I am loving these chunky crochet hearts from ATERGcrochet, this is an instant pattern download, so plenty of time to hook a few up before the 14th!

2. Aren't these needle felted hearts lovely, from Fairyfolk, I think they look very cute in a posy like this! :)

3. Damsontreepottery make these super cute heart hairpins, simple and lovely!

4.I love the cards from emilymcdowelldraws, this one is very applicable to my man and I ! :)

5. AndreSueKnits creates gorgeous handpainted yarns, (I am loving the plethora of indie yarn dyers out there, the colours they create are just so interesting!)   I am really wanting to catch the sock knitting bug and I think some gorgeous yarn like this one called 'Heartthrob' could be just the thing to get me having a go! So many beautiful yarns in this shop!

So that's it for today, I hope you have a great weekend, it looks like a warm one is coming up for us, which will be nice as Summer has been a bit of a non event until now.

I am having a Tapestry Crochet workshop tomorrow too, still a bit scary running these things, but I'm getting more comfortable each time I do one.  I think it really pays to get out of you comfort zone every now and again, this is something I never thought I'd have the confidence to do, but here I am!
I am still a pretty crap public speaker, but crochet is more of a doing thing than a talking thing anyway! :)

Talk soon!

  5. Hi, Julie! Greetings from cold and snowy West Michigan, USA! Here we are longing for the spring. Found your blog through Attic 24 then Mrs. Thomasina Tittlemouse's! All around the world. I've always longed to visit Australia, perhaps one day I will yet be able to. Your sampler afghan is what drew me here - very pretty! Enjoy what is left of your summer!
