ReplyDeleteCount me in please! What a lovely give away... I love all sorts of colours, but i would like the soft tones at this time...
ReplyDeleteLove, Mirjam.
Ooh I would love to try this wool. Unfortunately in Brisbane proper wool shops are few and far between so I haven't even been able to feel this wool let alone use it....hmm I think I just love colour whether it is pastel or bright it all brings sunshine to my day!
ReplyDeleteThe yarn looks lovely, it's generally soft colours for me. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteJane x
Such a lovely give away! I'm a bit of everything like you, and I love great color combinations!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a bright s girl..... well not necessarily brights as such, strong! Know what I mean? I can't crochet with wishy washy colours. But I love the "ice cream" colours pistachio, raspberry, vanilla, which can be more pastel than bright but they are strong! LOL. I love the colours in the giveaway because although they are light colours (except maybe the Orange) they are strong ones!
ReplyDeleteBrights all the way!
ReplyDeleteI love soft colours with bright accents. But I'm more geared towards brights. No wait, I love soft colours too!
ReplyDeleteI a\like both brights & pastels & if you see my crocheted blanket pile you would agree. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize
ReplyDeletebright happy colours all the way
ReplyDeleteOo lovely lovely! My colour choices are very much dependent on my mood. Either the mood I am in or the mood I want to be in. Sometimes have the presence of mind to improve my mood with colour. Sometimes not! xx
ReplyDeleteLove the brights, Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteDepends on what the weather is like! Rain and cloudy need the brights to cheer us up, Thanks for the giveaway, love your blog
ReplyDeletei love both...to wear I trend towards stronger colours but love the soft muted tones
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors, but I'm giving priority to always soft colors!!
ReplyDeleteI love beautiful colours. Soft or bright. Depends on the day :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a soft colour person for crochet and crafting! Thanks for the giveaway::: Have a nice week end! :::Silvia
ReplyDeleteI always thought I was a bright colour person but then when I recently got married I realised I was more soft brights, then I realised a lot of my things were these colours and they must be more me! My husband and I had a crafty wedding and once we had this colour scheme set about making paper bunting, pom pom bunting, pom pom wreaths and flower arrangements to match. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love beautiful colours. Soft or bright. Depends on the day :)
ReplyDeleteThink I'm a bit of all colours at the moment, as new to crocheting. Would love to win something :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours! Soft colours for some projects, brights for others - it depends on where it is going , or who it is going to.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway!!! I like soft colors more than bright ones.

Beautiful colours. Would make a lovely small blanket to go with my bench in front of my little house at the 1616 century built Baguinage in The Hague, Holland
ReplyDeleteI am a bit of each depending on what the item is for, to wear, softer colours, to use, brighter but still reasonably subtle! What a mixture hey! xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Merino, I'd like to think I'm a Brights person but I think I finally have to accept, I'm a soft coloured person. I was always in the mind that softs were dull and boring but my gosh they really are amazing when in the right combination :)
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway thank you! I like all colours.
ReplyDeleteHI
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity, I love your works, always such a big inspiration. I am both, bright and soft. I like bright colours, they mean for mean life bumping every where, and soft, because of the delicate and tender moments life give us.
Ivani from Brazil.
I love the give away. I love bright sunny colors.
ReplyDeleteI am more of a soft colors person.
ReplyDeleteFor quilts I like brights but for clothes I am definitely a more "soft" kinda gal! Lovely wool, thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteLovely soft colors , inspiring :)
ReplyDeleteI most love softs but with a pinch of bright just to give a blink!
ReplyDeleteI'm always attracted to brights, but I love soft colours too.
ReplyDeleteI love both type of colors, only depends on my mood at that time ;)
ReplyDeleteI like both! But soft colors just a little bit more... Beautifull give away. Greetings from Holland!
ReplyDeleteToday I'm a brights person........tomorrow may be a different story!!
ReplyDeleteBoth! Although I tend to make more things in soft colors. The yarn looks lovely! Greetings from a Swede in the French alps.
ReplyDeleteI live in the Caribbean and I love intense colours. Lately I've been trying to go out of my comfort zone to try softer colours but brights are still my first choice
ReplyDeleteBrights or soft, I love both. Personally I wear lots of brights but love the look of soft.
ReplyDeleteI love all colors, these days i prefere the bright :-)
ReplyDeleteI love pastel brights with white :-)
ReplyDeleteThe yarn looks lovely. Thanks for the giveaway.
Both the soft and bright are so lovely - who can choose? I'm a knitter who can't really crochet - but I love your blog for its gorgeous photographs and your cheerful musings.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colours - they're so pretty! :-)
ReplyDeletewow wat een giveaway !!!
ReplyDeletesuperleuke blog, alles is mooi maar ik hou het meest van zachte kleurtjes
groetjes clo
I discovered your blog whist researching stripey blankets. I adore yours & have it in my "to do" list. I love bright colours & get a real kick out of creating crocheted blankets for gifts. It is my "therapy" & I say to my family that I am going to my "happy place" when I pick up my crotchet
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, I'm sort of a soft colour girl but I love the colours in your blankets, so I'm stretching and adding more colour and it feels and looks good. thank you for the opportunity to win these beautiful wools.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Gail
Hi Julie ,
ReplyDeleteI like soft colours it makes me think romantic and sweetness.

ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway thank you! I like all colours.
ReplyDeleteLG fratzi
What a lovely giveaway, thank you. Choice of colour depands on the project really but I tend to be more of a soft colour lover ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors...I love them all...
ReplyDeleteIt just depends on the project as to whether I am love with the soft colors or the brights. I usually go for brights but at some point I switch to the softer tones.
ReplyDeletei love bright colors - well, all colors - but i seem to gravitate toward softer colors or pastels when working on something for myself. of course, it also depends on the project and if it is for someone else.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely both!!!
ReplyDeleteI like soft colours but here I prefer bright colours
ReplyDeleteTo do something for a new baby who's just arrive

I love the bright colors, but I usually end up using a combination of both in most of my projects.
ReplyDeleteAny colour wool pleases me!
ReplyDeleteI am a soft color person although my daughter gave me a neon orange shirt for mom's day that I love. ;)
ReplyDeleteOooh pretties!! I'll go for brights. A splash of color here, a splash of color there and everything is right with the world! Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteBrights! Gotta have some color in your life and in your yarn :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Hi I love the bright colours you use but find these pastels very subtle and pretty too!! Please include me in your giveaway ... Love Joy xx
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a soft person, but sometimes only bright colors will do.
ReplyDeleteBrights, jewel tones. I'm not really a fan of pastels but some dusty shades are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love all colors - I'm finding that I lean towards a base of neutrals with lots of colorful accents!
ReplyDeleteI love both, depends on the mood!! BTW, much excitement when Simply Crochet popped through the door yesterday and I spied your pattern. I am so excited to make this although unfortunately it will have to be my winter project - the mid west summers are too hot to be working under a blanket watching the kids in the park, so i have started a more portable granny squares one. However, I can spend the summer getting excited about the colour combinations and have something to look forward to when it gets cold!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great give away. It would have to be brights for me....colours that catch a smile and gift it back to others x
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors! Happiness = bright colors - what a great giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteI like the softer colors - they are gentle, not so forceful.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a soft color kind of person. I like to knit and crochet relaxedly and somehow I always seem to tense up a bit if my color are too bright or hard edged.
ReplyDeleteEllers4337@wmconnect.com
DeleteHm, I spent the last ten minutes thinking what kind of person I am. I certainly LOVE bright colours but for some projects I prefer soft ones. Since I am very very light skinned though I can only wear bright colours (not too bright but certainly none pastell colours). Hm, such a hard decision... So I reckon I am a half-half-person. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the give away! I yarn looks great and I always love to try out yarns I can't buy here in Germany!
Take care
Anne

Hi Ys I am both bright and soft,
ReplyDeleteHi Jules
ReplyDeleteI like soft colours at the moment, probably because I've worked with bright colours so much lately.
Softer colours definitely...thankyou for having a lovely giveaway x
ReplyDeleteMmm, a real mixture of colours. Great blog, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love the brights until I wake up in a soft mood!
ReplyDeleteooo, I love them all! but since it's spring I'll say pastels.
ReplyDeleteBrights for sure!
ReplyDeletegeeze, i like both, just depends on my mood that day! some days are brights, some are softer, muted, pastel, etc! thanks :)
ReplyDeleteMine depend on the mood I'm in or the projects I'm working on. I love bright rainbow colours, pastels, bright primary colours & then some days it's all about neutral creams & browns. Makes life interesting too! Now these chalky colours are a new love for me, it's just a fantastic description!
ReplyDeleteOoh those colours are lovely! I'm a soft colour person myself, but I love looking at other peoples brights. X
ReplyDeleteIt depends on my mood and what I´m crocheting, so a little bit of both :) Everything is better when it´s modest :)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, Oh the joy of using some Merino 8 ply , so soft and squishy....... lovely to knit with, after sock knitting this Summer.
ReplyDeleteBright colours would be great to use when the days are cold and grey ,thank you for the chance to win these beauties.
Most definitely brights! :)
ReplyDeleteSofter colours are beautiful
ReplyDeleteSometimes bright, sometimes soft.....more recently I've been enjoying bright cheery colours.......to make me smile. Thanks for the chance. X
ReplyDeleteI love all colours ! Every delicious ball of colour can be made into something beautiful or functional, it does often depend on your mood! Some days I like to play with bright colours ,others soft quiet colours. It is definitely a mood thing!
ReplyDeleteYuummy colours! Definately soft and dreamy for me.......
ReplyDeleteI have always been a "soft" color person, but recently have added some brighter colors to my decor. I am loving both! Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteJulie, I love all colors, be it soft and muted or bright and bold. In the Winter I do like a bright color to lift my spirits on a cloudy winter day, and in the summer, it's soft and cool colors for me to temper the hot summers we in Texas experience. In Autumn, I love the oranges and browns and golds and wheat colors...and of course in Spring, it's the soft pastels for me. :)
ReplyDeleteSo, I like them all!
Hi! Love love love those colours! I like all kinds of colour wools! Thanks for the generous give away, love your work! X
ReplyDeleteOoohhh!!! What pretty colors! I tend to lean towards cool colors, although I will go for a good color combo anytime no matter what color family they are from! :)

ReplyDeleteI love soft colours. Hope I win.
ReplyDeleteMyra, from Winnipeg, Canada

ReplyDeleteI am right at this moment knitting a Miss Marple scarf in the beautiful Mustard Merino Magic I ordered from you a couple of weeks ago, it is divine and so soft. I like both colors, what a generous give away xx
ReplyDeleteSandi
It depends on my mood, I love bold colours and am naturally drawn to those but sometimes pastels are just whispering to be used. I'm going through a natural phase using lots of the same shades in creams and whites. Such a lovely giveaway and I thoroughly love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love all colours, going through a bright phase at the moment, but love to mix bright with some softer tones too, experimenting is what it's all about xx
ReplyDeleteThat's a hard choice. I love both colors!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh ... Yarn ... Lovely lovely yarn .... I love pastels and brights - depends on what I'm making and for who! Have a happy weekend x
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous yarn - wish it was available in UK., I love most colours as I find some uplifting and others soothing - depends what type of day I am having but a general mish mash is good for me :)
ReplyDeletenormally I'm a bright color person but I notice that since a few weeks I'm totally into soft tender pastel colors !
ReplyDeleteLove your question about color preferrence! My sister and I send ideas back and forth, for knitting and crocheting, all the livelong day.
ReplyDeleteWe are polar opposites when it comes to coloways.... I'm the Gypsy brights and she is Zen Sister. Any color would, of course be put to good use.
I love color! It doesn't matter if it's bright or subdued. Usually it's just the mood I'm in at the time as to what color I will pick up to use.
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so pretty - I love all colours it really depends on my moods.
ReplyDeleteI like both but more of a bright person!
ReplyDeleteOooh lovely yummy brights :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors, especially the pink.
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteGoing for bright or soft colors depends on the mood mostly.. and on the weather, the season..
Your blog is very inspiring. This is the first time I am leaving a comment. I ve been reading your posts since April or so..
Keep it up :)
a friend from Greece
Brights or pastels; soft or bold; as long as they're colours I love them all

ReplyDeleteHi it depends on what mood I'm in but I do like all colours :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your stripey blanket! So colorful and happy! I like the brights!

ReplyDeleteSusan laible
I'm a bit of everything kind of girl too!
ReplyDeleteWow those colours are beautiful together. I love colour and how different combinations can give different feels. I like brights, muted, rich, pastels. I find it quite difficult to put together combinations but you seem to do it effortlessly and I admire that.
ReplyDeleteAs always I love your blog and wish I was Australian to buy some of your yarn!
Love Em xxx
Enter me!
ReplyDeletei like all colors as well!
ReplyDeleteI like all colors. Color selection depends on my project!
ReplyDeleteI like bright colours :) I live in Holland, I don't know if that's a problem...
ReplyDeleteI like your blog! I am making the blanket that I see on your blog.
I actually like gradient colors so I guess that would be a mixture!
ReplyDeleteSince starting to crochet just last year I have graduated to the brighter colours. I find if my colour selection is on the pastel side I get tired of the project too soon. Maybe it's just me. By the way I love love love your latest stripey blanket!
ReplyDeleteSandy Downs
PS. Is stripey a real word??
Hello lovely Julie, I am a soft colour person and I love the look of your yarn and can think of a dozen projects if I am lucky enough to win. ReplyDelete"A bit of everything..."
ReplyDeleteMiriam
I see so many bright coloured crochet blankets and pillows, and love all the different patterns used. However, I really think I'm a soft colour person. The brights sometimes tire me out.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I like both bright and soft colours -- depending on the project, the weather, my mood... Thanks for your lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteI love you Blog! I am always inspired by your work & lovely color choices! I use to be a pastel person, now at 59 I love ALL the colors! Blessings & thank you for a chance to enter! From a mom/ gramma that crotchets to stay sain! :)
