weekly stills....

weekly stills:

1. Tomatoes and basil, the tastes of summer linger on. Yum.

2. Harlequin blanket has stalled at the final stage, just got to get the edge finished off.

3+4. New woolly love to grab my crafty attention, got the needles out for this one.
So much beautiful colour play in this yarn!
( it's Malabrigo - Rios if you are wondering)

5. A pile of books to dip into in spare time.

6. I bought this big bag of baby pea shoots the other day and have been having a big handful in a wrap with salmon for lunch, it's really delish!

How was your week?

Joining up with the other weekly stillers over at Emily's place here.

  1. Those tomatoes look s-o good! It's been so long since we've had a fresh vine ripened tomato, but it's getting closer. :) Spring weather has made an appearance, so I've been outside every moment possible this week, checking in the bee hives, weeding flowers, checking on freshly sown seeds, readying more to sow. Not a lot of time hooking lately, but working on some mini bunting in thread. Have a great day!

  9. I was hoping you would share the yarn you used in the third and fourth photos! It's gorgeous! Also, I see you have "The Secret Life of Bees" in your book pile. I really loved that book. I'm listening to another book of hers on Audible entitled "The Invention of Wings." It's about the beginnings of the anti-slavery movement in the early 1800's. It's awesome. And the narrators are great in the audio version.

  12. So nice to see your warm weather photos while the cold still lurks around here. I'll have to try eating pea shoots like that. I've seen them and wondered.
