Autumn Harlequin progress....

Hello!
Just popping in for a quick chat tonight :)   I've been busy hooking away at my Autumn harlequin blanket and it is growing!!  I have given myself a little challenge to see how quickly I can hook this blanket up, and I am snatching a row here and a row there whenever I can, and I am enjoying each new colour change, it makes the progress seem so much quicker.  I am really enjoying this autumnal colour scheme, I think I will try another blanket in similar colours maybe a stripy one....

Anyhoo, this is making me a very happy hooker indeed!! :)  I am really looking forward to seeing how it looks all finished, (hopefully by the end of the weekend) I wonder what colour I should pick out for the edge?
 Hmmmm...decisions, decisions!

Got any projects on the go that are making you happy at the moment?

  2. Couldn't agree more with the above comment! It is always a joy to visit here and see your colourful goodness.

I've been influenced by Autumny colours too, and am knitting away on a simple striped scarf, and loving having my needles back in my hands again. :)

  3. This is incredible, the pattern is awesome and I am loving your colour combo. I am crocheting gifts, baby gifts so lacking in bright colours atm but I plan on changing that very soon x

  4. Ooh it looks lovely! Can imagine that it's making you happy! I'm now making felt plushies and trying to sell them on Etsy (which is very exciting) but no big crochet projects at the moment. You're project does inspire to start something though!

  6. Wonderful blanket, and such a great range of colours! Right this moment I'm starting a lacy shawl using the prettiest taupe linen-type yarn with teeny silver sequins, the yarn was so unusual that I've stopped all other projects to start this one! Does that ever happen to you? Chrissie x

  12. Wonderful colours Jules, I love your harlequin blankets. I'm trying to finish a blanket I was hoping to get finished for Christmas, so a little bit overdue - in my desperation to get it finished I feel like I'm trying to crochet through glue at the moment, but only 6 stripes to go. Enjoy the rest of the week.

  13. Its looking gorgeous! Loving the colours, loving the design. Just amazing!
Seeing your harlequin blanket awhile back inspired me have a go at something a little simpler, some squares using this method, and aiming for something smaller, a cushion. I'm hoping to progress to diamonds one day!

  14. Loving the colors on this one too. You get so many projects done it's amazing! I need to get a blanket going so I have something to work on in the evening that I can just pick up and know the pattern by heart. I've been doing smaller projects that require my full attention and I want some "relaxing" crochet and a nice blanket should do the trick!

  15. I made your tapestry crochet washcloths which I loved doing. Think they were a fab pattern and a great introduction for me into this type if crochet. Have several WIP including the mood blanket. Just finished an Attic 24 raindrops cushion and now half way through a mini granny square one. But am now so tempted by a blanket like this. What yarn and hook size are you using? Very interested. Below is my latest blog post if you should be interested http://eclectichomelife.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/attic-24-inspired-crochet-cushion.html?m=1

  16. It looks brilliant, love it!!! I'm finishing off a knitted scarf at the moment, it's taking ages to do the edge but it's making me very happy :-) I'm itching to get into some crochet though, it's been far too long, a cushion maybe.......enjoy your lovely harlequins :-) Mel x

  19. Oh wow, that's just gorgeous! I may have to add that to my never ending 'to do' list. lol I'm working on a spring shawl at the moment, and planning some tiny bunting for the doorways. Have you've seen the pom pom edging? At http://onceuponapinkmoon.blogspot.com/2013/09/pom-pom-edge.html I just love it. I look forward to seeing the finished blanket.
