Hello.
How has your week been going?
It has been very cruisey around here, the weather has cooled off, and we are getting back to normal, I haven't had much work on this week, so I've had time to do some daytime crochet.
What a luxury!
I have started a new granny blanket, and I am very happy with how it is coming up.
So today I have been sitting at my little red table hooking away, with a bit of choice music on, and watching the chooks play around out the window, a very pleasant afternoon !
I think I'll do a proper big post tomorrow and show you all my new granny love, I have taken a heap of lovely colourful photos, so must share!! :)
I'm joining in over at my creative space today, so have a look over here at what the creative people over there are getting up to!
Have a great day!
I love your granny squares and their color, lovely :)

Great colour combination!
ReplyDeleteOh, what an inviting image! I feel as if I could just sit right there and pick up your hook and keep crocheting!! Can't wait to see what you have planned for these lovelies. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the color combinations and your granny squares are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSounds like such a perfect afternoon. Your granny squares look gorgeous and I'm loving the colours, as always.

I took the kids to the park yesterday because they had been going stir crazy as a result of the heat. I took my crochet stuff with me so I could work on some granny squares for a new project but I quickly discovered that my scissors were absent which meant all I could do was two rounds of one square. Not as productive as I had hoped!

I always love the colours you choose... sometimes a plain ole granny is best! looking forward to seeing more, have a good day x
ReplyDeleteLoving the colour combinations of you're granny squares, sounds like a perfect afternoon. I'm in the midst of crocheting flowers at the moment. it was roses today, for a spring time wreath. Once that's done it will be back to granny squares for me and the neglected blanket I'm making.

Ooh lovely! I've started a new granny square project but I can't quite get my colours right... More playing is needed :)
ReplyDeleteLove love love the colours....thought I'd let you know that although I finished the bag you kindly helped me with last year (based on your blanket), I have only just taken photos of it. You might like to take a quick squiz:
