My new Japanese Hooky books!! Soooo beautiful!

Blogtober 5th

Look what I picked up from the post office today! Yah! These crochet books from Japan are just so gorgeous I want to make every thing I see in them! And the superb styling of the photos - they are a visual treat - talk about eye candy!!

Anyway I thought I'd show you some of the gorgeous things in these books........

......colour, colour, and more lovely colour...........

......Loving this blankie......

.....and these slippers.....

......and this shelf edging, sooooo cute!........

.....stunning tablecloth.....

.....super cute pot holders.....

These are from the 2 books of 'things', I will save the baby book for another post, needless to say that it too is totally super cute and I can't wait for my new niece/nephew to be born so I can make some of the patterns up!

The only drawback is that all the instructions are in Japanese, so I will have to rely on the diagram patterns, something I haven't done before, I'll see how I go. I am definitely going to persevere though, the books are so inspiring!

Hope you had a great day!

  2. I am incredibly jealous! You will be fine with the diagrams. I was scared at 1st but they are easy to follow and I now find it easier than following a written pattern.
Can't wait to see what you make.
