Hello.
Last weekend we went to Philip Island for the night, which meant we got to have an early morning beach walk on Sunday, ( well ok, it was around 8.30am, so not really that early). This is the beach at the end of the street. It was a beautiful winter day complete with a washed out sunlight that is so typical of the winter sunlight here.
I took a some shots of our walk and thought you might like to come along for a stroll, it was lovely and peaceful with only a handful of people on the whole beach, quite idyllic. Who doesn't love a beach walk on the winter sun?

Indeed a truly beautiful walk, a real delight.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty spot.
ReplyDeleteThat looks very calm and peaceful. A winter beach walk where I live would be something completely different! Not likely to be any sunshine - very likely to be raining and windy and freezing cold.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely - I live just by a beach and I love it best in winter - though in Northern Ireland that usually means wind and rain! I love your photos - especially the curious ladder. Washed up or there for a reason I wonder?
ReplyDeleteThat looks just lovely! I can't believe how inviting Aussie winters look, compared to here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! xx
ReplyDeleteSimply paradise, how lucky.
ReplyDeleteAmazing landscape! Thanks for sharing! : )
ReplyDeleteStunning landscape......xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, thank you Julie! xoJoy
ReplyDeleteI love the beach in winter - often one gets the beach to oneself and when the wind blows up, the sting of it with the salty sea air makes one feel truly alive in the here and now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for "taking" us along, probably the only beach "walking" I'll do this year. We're having a rare reprieve from our scorching summer temps, it feels more like fall and loving it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful walk ... I really enjoyed it :) beautiful pictures.
