Hello.
How's your weekend going?
We are having a good one, I've worked today, and tomorrow we are having a family catch up.
The boys have been mooching around doing their own thing, we visited my parents after I finished work and they had a hit of tennis and a bag of chips. Nice cruisey, quiet weekend kind of stuff.
Last night I started a new little idea, nothing very complex, but I'm it hoping it will turn out ok. It is hopefully going to be for a Christmas swap I have joined.
The Handmade Ornament Swap is over at the lovely blog Christina Lowry Design, I think there is still a few days left to sign up, if you'd like to join in the fun!
I am using some of my cotton yarn that I bought from Yvestown shop, and am finding it lovely to crochet with, not splitty at all.
These are much softer colours than I usually use, but I am quite enjoying the change.
Hope you all have a fun day!
Lovely colour yarn.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend
Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours you're using. You know you'll have to show when finished :D
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so pretty. Very springy. I am thinking of only buying better quality wool these days. I usually prefer to buy wool without man-made fibres but the 100% wool I buy can still be a bit rough and itchy. I put it down to not being as good a quality.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have also joined the ornament swap. I can't wait to find out who I will be creating for. x
What pretty colours. I usually go for more vibrant ones but I think these look really pretty. lily. xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the colours - somehow very hopeful colours! Don't know why, but someone is going to get a lovely surprise in the swap.
ReplyDeleteGreat colour choice. But then you do make great colour choices.
