Grey Sunburst Granny Square Blanket - Tadah!

Hello there!
It's been gloomy rainy day here, so I thought I'd show you a blanket I finished recently.  I think I might have shown you the start of this one ages ago, it sat unfinished for a long time, until I finally got around to adding a narrow border.
The pattern is the classic Sunburst Granny Square by Priscilla Hewitt, I love this pattern, so simple and versatile.  I grabbed a heap of my favourite colours and had fun combining them into the centres and then calmed things down a bit with a grey background.   I  think it has come up nicely. :)

So, what have you been up to lately?
Things have been busy around here,  I have had some lovely new yarns come into the shop for the Winter season, and I still have a long wishlist of yarns I'd like to stock.  I'll be adding new things as money becomes available, slow and steady we are growing!  Thanks so much to the fabulous customers who shop with me, I am always so appreciative of all your support! xxxx

Last week I sent out the last box from my Yarny Love Club for Autumn/Spring, I am getting organised for the Winter/Summer Club and hope to open up for sign ups later this week. :)
I'm doing a little 100 day business Challenge for Little Woollie Makes, and am hoping to get my blogging mojo back in a big way!

Anyway, I'm about to run out of battery here, so I'll leave it there tonight.

Have a great day/night!  Talk soon! xxxxxx

  3. This is truly a wonderful blanket. It I want to start with this pattern as well, using all shades of blues and greens, completed with grey. I hope that this will be as beautiful as yours is, though your blanket is much brighter than the one I am planning. Viola

  16. Hi Julie, You began this post with "It's been gloomy rainy day here" so when I saw your blanket, the grey reminded me of a grey overcast sky. The bright circles reminded me of bursts of sunlight peeking through the clouds or the rainbow of colours refracted off glistening raindrops from a sunshower.
Your Yarny Love Club is a great idea. You are always finding new activities to keep you busy (and out of trouble!) ;-) Happy crochet! Jodie
