1. I've been tidying up my studio/shop to make room for some exciting new yarns that are on their way, it was very nice to get it all organised and looking fabulous! (Doesn't look like that anymore, I seem to be incapable of keeping a tidy space for longer that a day!!)
2. A colourful little corner. :)
3. I've been doing a bit of decorating too, I'm loving these big paper balls hanging in my window! It feels like Summer is not that far away!!
4. These little flowers have been fun to make and add to my Yarny Love Club boxes, the first instalment was sent off without a hitch. Now to start working on the second instalment! I was blown away with the great response to my little club, thank you so much to everyone who signed up, your support is much appreciated! :)
5 + 6. It's poppy season!! Definitely in my top 5 favourite flowers, they are blooming now and I can't get enough of them!

I feel like I haven't been around my little blog for ages, I am going to try and remedy that, even if the posts are short and sweet.
I'll be back tomorrow with a look at some fabulous new cotton that has come int the shop, it is totally drool worthy!
So what have you been up to recently?

You're not alone, I can't keep a space tidy for more than a day either! It looks lovely though, especially all that colour-organised yarn. I like your colourful paper shades, they do look summery - sadly, what we laughingly call summer over here in Britain looks as though it's going to be over soon and lovely papery-petalled poppies seem like a distant memory. Have a lovely creative week. Jane x
ReplyDeleteOh dear, same here, I really cannot keep my creative space tidy! Such lovely summery pictures, just what I need on a wet, chilly British day! x
ReplyDeleteI really love your place, the lanterns and all that colours and wool!!!

Your shop looks lovely. You are just going into summer and we've just finished and are heading into Autumn. Our summer weather wasn't good at all so I'm really looking forward to Autumn, no matter what the weather is like.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks fabulous! (I've been doing the same in my craft room, must be something in the air. AND, I can't keep mine clean for long either! lol) Love the lanterns! (I also have some (3) in my craft room in a corner, over my sewing machine which I've added 3-D paper butterflies to.) When they fade from the sunlight I just glue on more colored tissue paper. Lovely flowers, real and woolly. Our blooming season is coming to an end shortly, I shall miss them. Currently I'm working on a shawl for a niece's wedding. Have a crafty day!
ReplyDeleteA lot of us have trouble keeping the spaces tidy for long but what would you rather be doing - cleaning or crocheting?

It is so bright, light and colourful in your studio. Can't wait to see the new yarn
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have found you and your space! Looking forward to more.

What a great working space you have. Here in the Netherlands most people have small houses. But a space like yours... I now understand that it's very inspiring to be sitting between all the bride and lovely colours of the yarn.
