Wheels within Wheels update....







Hello! It has been busy around here recently! 
I have been hooking away at these circles and I think the end is in sight!  
What do you think of the cream background?  I am really happy how it is looking so far, I think the blues and greens will stand out nicely and make good pops of colour.  
My pile of squares is now much bigger than my pile of circles, and I am going to try really hard to finish them off tonight and then sew them all together tomorrow.  I am wondering if I should block each individual square or if I could sew them together and then block the whole blanket....

This fab pattern is Wheels within Wheels by Frankie Brown, I found it on Ravelry. :)


Okay,  I have to go and get busy with my hook!

    That is SO much work! I'm impressed that you can sew it together so quickly. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.

    Just love these, they are going to look brilliant together.....you Sunday on the beach looked fun, we are hoping to get a few days away next week but in the middle of winter there will be no paddling for us! :) xxx

    Awesome! Love the cream background! I'm in the process of recovering some throw pillows, two down three to go, and I have been wonder at what pattern to do next, I think I'll give the wheels a go. As I'm not into blocking big projects much, no help on that front. ; )

    Looks very nice. I like the background color! I'm working on a bag of circles in squares in a cream background. So something similar (but also very different...).

    I love it, the shades of blues and green compliment each other and are very calming. Its going to be really beautiful. The cream will set it all off. Love it! I follow and share.

    Gorgeous colors. I think it would be better to block each square so that you get the right shape for each one.

    I love the cream background too, it does make those greens and blues pop. I will be interested to see if you block the squares first ... I think it might give a neater result. How do you plan on joining the squares?

    I remember making a motif blanket and it was easier to join the squares neatly once they had all been individually blocked and straigntened to the correct dimensions.
