September yarny giveaway!

Hello everyone!
I hope you are all having a good day.  It is windy here again which I always find a bit unsettling, I tend to flit from thing to thing on windy days, I'm hoping to be more focused tomorrow.

So anyway, I have a giveaway for you today, my ambition to hold one giveaway a month has got a little off track, but I will try and finish the rest of the year sticking to my word.

The giveaway for this month is 3 skeins of Cascade Ultra Pima cotton
this is fairly new to my shop, but I am loving it already!  So soft, but creates a nice sturdy fabric too.
I had trouble choosing which colours to giveaway, there are so many to choose from, but in the end I decided to go with 3 rich jewel shades.  I thought you could make some nice potholders or washcloths or even a striped scarf with these.

To enter just leave me a comment on this post telling me what is your favourite thing to make out of cotton.  I will pick a winner next Wednesday.

------------------------------------
This week has been a bit strange, I don't have the pressure of a market stall to make for, so am a little at sea with what to make next!  So much freedom!
I have been experimenting with a new motif for a blanket, it is something I started playing around with last year, so it is good to get it out and take it to the next stage.  I am thinking it could be my next pattern I write up, I am quite pleased with how it is looking.  So I will have to share with you all soon!

Have great making day, hope you get some crafting in at some point!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Edited : Thank you, this giveaway has now ended !

  15. I love using cotton yarn. I make small scarfs, mandalas and little accessoires like flowers, acorns or leaves out of it. At the moment I crochet pumpkins (autumn is coming closer and closer) and a water bottle cover. I think I have finished them in a few days and then I will write a post about it on my blog. Usually I use Lang Quattro cotton yarn. There is a wide range of colours and I get it in my local yarn shop. That's quite convenient. But your yarn looks fabulous, as well. I would like to enter the give-away.. Have a nice day, Viola

Just missing a few more flowergranny's and I would like to make the border with crocheted. pom poms. Your wool matches wonderfully the other colours in the quilt. It would be a shame not to have them in it. :)

My diamond flower will do that I hope. Would love to enter your giveaway ... wonderful colours!!!
