Crochet Washcloths, so hip!!

Hello!

We are starting two weeks of school holidays here, so looking forward to a break in our usual routines, hopefully we will have a lot of fun days, relaxing doing what we like.

This morning I sat down and weaved all the ends in on my little washcloths.  It was time for some photos!  So here they are, humble washcloths, little woollie style!

A couple of these have already found a new home, far away across the ocean, how exciting!

**Thanks to my very obliging helpers here, a little glimpse *behind the scenes* at our headquarters. :)
(Although it turned into a bit of a tug of war with washcloths flapping around all over the place very soon after this was taken:) )

Anyway, I am pretty happy with how these turned out, very easy, and I think a cute present with some nice soap or something like that.  A good start to my Handmade Christmas effort.

What have you been up to this weekend?
Had some fun times?

xxxxxx

(ps. A few lovely people were wondering how to to the dotty pattern, I will try and clean up my scribbles and post a photo of the dot graph for the tapestry crochet technique:) )

Edited to add:  I now have a pattern available for these washcloths as well as the hearts and clouds ones. If you are interested they are for sale on Ravelry over here!

  24. These are without a doubt the coolest wash cloths I have ever seen! I love your behind the scenes, I always struggle with photos and now I realise I just need to have a couple of kids & let them get old enough to hold things for me :p

  27. I've made one because I was so inspired, and it cheered me up. Mine is not perfect but there is always next time. You must be a machine to churn out so many cloths so quickly - it took me the better part of the day to make my little square and imperfectly may I add. Id include a photo but I dont know how. Ive redirected anyone who interested in making these back to your site.xox thanks Monique

  33. I have started making most my presents lately since learning to crochet a couple years ago. It started bit by bit. Now that I am getting better and better, my goal is for all my presents to be home made. It saves us a lot of money, it's good for the enviroment since I get most of my yarn from thrift stores and yard sales and homemade gifts are from the heart. I just started making things for Christmas. I made my son a crocheted puppet that turned out super cute, and right now I am planning on making a star for the top of the tree, and some Christmas stockings. I am having so much fun!
