17/52 Year of Happy

Four random things from my week that made me happy.

1. Sewing rows of granny squares together and finishing this little blanket.
(see previous post for more piccys)

2. My youngest, Max turned 13 last week, we had a nice birthday lunch in his honour and had a lovely day all round.  I am officially the mother of 3 teenagers now.  I can't believe my baby is 13! Time flies when you're having fun they say, I'd have to agree.

3. Our lime tree that is covered in big juicy limes, looks so good.  Some are starting to ripen up, so lots of limey things on the menu soon.

4. The arrival of soup weather, I do love a hot bowl of soup for lunch, check out the colour of this pumpkin soup I made the other day. Gorgeous.  I only like pumpkin in soup, and this was yum.  I think I might have to do a 'soup of the week' post through the winter, I make it so often!

This little weekly reminder to find the happy moments and remember them is something I am really enjoying!  Hope you are having a happy week too.
