7/52 Year of Happy.

Four things from my week that made me happy.

1. This weeks vase of flowers, lovely vivid garden roses.

2. Gravenstein apples, one of my favourite eating apples and only around for a short season, so I'm making the most of them!

3.  Chunky summer salad, makes me feel healthier just looking at it (it was pretty tasty too!!)

4. Sitting outside till late, eating, drinking, listening to some tunes and chewing the fat with good friends, the perfect way to spend a hot Summer's night .

And here's one more of my roses, I couldn't resist!

Hope you had a happy week too!

    1. Hi Chel, Yes it is lovely spending the evening outside at the moment, our house takes a while to cool down from the heat of the day, so out doors is the best place to be! Thanks for popping by here, J xx

    1. Hi Mel, Yep, we are making the most of the warm weather while it lasts, I think we have a cool change coming later in the week, so there might not be too many more nights like that! Hope all is well with you and your gang, thanks for stopping by, J xx

  5. Hello Jules
Nothing better!!! Those hot summer nights having a chat with friends over a cool cool glass of white. Not long now.....spring is pretty warm here in Alicante and we'll be out and about evening times hunting for a cool breeze and enjoying the whiff of Jasmine and Honeysuckle. Those plants grow everywhere here in the city and many people have potted Jasmine plants on their balconies as a mosquito deterrent. Not long now!

mmmm and that salad looks so delicious....that gives me a thought to add to lunch today...a winter salad.

    keep well

    Amanda :-)
