However, real life commitments have meant that my crochet time has been a bit light on at the moment, so my blanket is not growing as quickly as I would like, so the updates are slower too! Fear not, they are coming though! They will be put on the separate crochet along page as well as posted normally on the blog. The blanket in this post was the first mixed stripe blanket that i made last year and I didn't record a pattern for it, but the new one I am making now definitely will have instructions on how to make it. Hope this clears up any confusion, happy crocheting, Julie :)littlewoolliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00044255857519779930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-19623337489010016782012-09-17T09:10:11.424+10:002012-09-17T09:10:11.424+10:00I started your blanket because I just LOVE it. I got up to update #2 and couldn't find any more directions. Now, I find that you have decided not to publish any more directions. So my blanket it now a foot long. :( I am sooooo disappointed. I would love to make these two blankets and I LOVE the colors you chose for both. I'm not skilled enough to make this by sight or just wing it, though. I just made sure I counted every now and again to stay on track, and if I was making clusters or skipping stitches I made sure that overall there was the same number of stitches, ie if you are doing 3sc in one st, then skip next 2 stitches and 3sc in next and so on, overall it's the same number of stitches. This is probably confusing! sorry I am not much help, all I can suggest is careful counting! Good luck!littlewoolliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00044255857519779930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-52521429074882187392012-03-12T12:29:50.362+11:002012-03-12T12:29:50.362+11:00Hi Jules,

As I am a bit of a beginner, my blanket is a sort of sampler, using different stitches from a selection of books. I can see why many blankets are made up of smaller granny squares, as I am having a terrible time keeping the correct number of stitches in each row. I think I am on the right track with the turning chains etc, and then when I check back I have lost quite a few stitches. I am loathe to unpick any rows, but am not sure if the problem can be rectified. Are there any tricks of the trade.

With thanks, MerridyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-70599625089792751542011-11-27T14:54:34.033+11:002011-11-27T14:54:34.033+11:00Do you have a pattern for this blanket??Do you have a pattern for this blanket??MHer_Misshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04350795376414689071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-85971709981057102632011-10-09T19:09:32.991+11:002011-10-09T19:09:32.991+11:00Love it!! In fact, that's what I thought you were doing and thought it was cute, but then you asked about them. OR you could tie three of them together evenly with an overhand knot, then trim the off. Just an idea. Much easier than trying to hide them all.
Kathryn Encinas in Ramona, California ~ U.S.A.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-60877638104182195772011-09-21T17:51:48.665+10:002011-09-21T17:51:48.665+10:00Hi Jules, thanks for sharing your absolutely gorge...Hi Jules, thanks for sharing your absolutely gorgeous blanket - I love it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-44460081454604670172011-09-19T20:49:22.097+10:002011-09-19T20:49:22.097+10:00Ooh it's lovely! ;)Ooh it's lovely! ;)meetmeatmikeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02088257801400843909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985070342249816622.post-39066624329668431952011-09-19T12:19:51.414+10:002011-09-19T12:19:51.414+10:00beautiful blanket.
